Sampdoria and Juventus at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa, Italy.
COMMENTARY
Bianconeri boss Maurizio Sarri makes just two changes of his own, bringing Pjanic and Alex Sandro back into the starting lineup. De Sciglio drops to the bench, while Rodrigo Bentancur misses out altogether. Sarri persists with the dangerous attacking trident of Dybala, Higuain and Ronaldo, having initially been reluctant to deploy all three together.
Sampdoria head coach Claudio Ranieri makes three changes from the side that beat Genoa 1-0 last time out. Midfield duo Albin Ekdal and Ronaldo Vieira miss out entirely, while former Juventus striker Quagliarella is on the bench. Murillo, Jankto and Caprari come into the side in their places as the former Leicester City coach switches from a 4-4-2 to a 3-5-2.
Juventus substitutes: Douglas Costa, Daniele Rugani, Juan Cuadrado, Federico Bernardeschi, Mattia De Sciglio, Carlo Pinsoglio, Manolo Portanova, Aaron Ramsey, Emre Can, Marko Pjaca, Matthijs de Ligt, Mattia Perin.
Juventus XI (4-3-1-2): Gianluigi Buffon; Danilo, Merih Demiral, Leonardo Bonucci, Alex Sandro; Adrien Rabiot, Miralem Pjanic, Blaise Matuidi; Paulo Dybala; Gonzalo Higuain, Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sampdoria substitutes: Emiliano Rigoni, Mehdi Leris, Marco Pompetti, Tommaso Augello, Fabio Quagliarella, Andrea Seculin, Manolo Gabbiadini, Gonzalo Maroni, Vasco Regini, Wladimiro Falcone, Julian Chabot.
Sampdoria XI (3-5-2): Emil Audero; Alex Ferrari, Jeison Murillo, Omar Colley; Fabio Depaoli, Morten Thorsby, Karol Linetty, Jakub Jankto, Nicola Murru; Gaston Ramirez, Gianluca Caprari.
Reigning champions Juventus have the chance to move - at least temporarily - three points clear of title rivals Inter with a win over a struggling Sampdoria side that find themselves just two points clear of the relegation zone.
